Why we do this.

Blakely began with Kenya. Not as a business idea, but as a series of trips home — time spent on the ground, with guides and lodge owners and cooks and drivers who knew the country far better than any brochure. What became clear, trip after trip, is how much of what travelers pay goes to everything except the actual experience.

We started Blakely to close that gap. To be the people who actually know the places we send you. To plan trips that feel like they were built by someone you trust, because they were.

What started with safaris now extends into motorsport weekends and bespoke journeys. The thread through all of it is the same — attentive planning, honest counsel, and the belief that good travel should feel uncomplicated, not engineered.
